CAN-BIO-LITE Biometric Fingerprint Recognition Reader
The CAN-BIO-LITE Fingerprint Recognition Reader provides a 26 bit wiegand output to interface with almost any access control system as a slave reader or can be connected to a CAN-BIO-DCM Door Control Module to provide a cost-effective biometric solution for single door/device applications for up to 90 users .
Users can be enrolled on each CAN-BIO- LITE reader using the hand-held programmer. The same Programmer can control multiple CAN-BIO-LITE Readers. No cards, PC, or software are required for basic operation.
Because CAN-BIO-LITE performs 1:90 matching, no card or keypad PIN entry is required. The scanner continuously looks for fingers to authenticate. The user simply places their finger on the scanner for quick access to the door or device being controlled.
Bypass Feature
It is a fact that with all biometric products, a very small percentage of people cannot be enrolled due to injury or unreadable fingerprints. In this circumstance, a Bypass Key can be programmed and issued. Users presenting a Bypass Key will not be required to scan their finger. Each CAN-BIO-LITE Programmer comes with 5 Bypass Keys but more are available to purchase if required.
