Farpointe Data Delta Multi Technology Card Readers

Farpointe’s Delta technology is based on the Internationally popular Mifare platform to offer a globally accepted, secure and versatile access control solution. Delta readers support the most popular smartcard and proximity card technologies for simple system integration and the freedom to target different applications with the most convenient card technology.

To ensure the integrity of RF data transactions, data communication between Delta cards and Delta readers is encrypted using a powerful key; furthermore, readers and credentials challenge each others’ keys during the validation process. The readers offer a wide range of adjustable settings to satisfy each customer’s individual needs, application requirements, and system specifications.

13.56MHz: Supports Delta Contactless Smartcards, Mifare 1K & 4K, Ultralight (CSN only), DESFire (CSN only), iCLASS (CSN only)
Supports both sector and card serial number (CSN) reading
125KHz: supports Farpointe’s Pyramid Series Proximity® cards and tags, along with optional compatibility with HID and AWID proximity
FIPS201, US Government approved Transparent Reader (supports PIV Types A & B)
TWIC: reads CHUID data

Farpointe Data Delta3 Multi-Technology Contactless Smartcard Reader

With a compact design the model Delta3 may be mounted to metal door or window frames, and other flat surfaces.

Model Delta3-H adds the option of HID 125-kHz proximity compatibility, and model Delta3-A adds the option of AWID 125-kHz proximity compatibility. Delta 3 CSN is the lowest cost model and reads only the Chip Serial Number

Delta readers are able to read the sector (access control) data and/or card serial number from all ISO 14443 Type A & B compliant credentials including Mifare, DESfire and iCLASS credentials. Delta credentials meet the ISO standard and are programmed by the manufacturer with a Delta compatible secure key. During Delta’s validation process the credential’s secure key is challenged by the reader. If the secure keys match, the reader will read the card’s sector data, if the secure keys don’t match, the reader will only read the credential’s CSN.

Delta5 Multi-Technology Contactless Smartcard Reader

Farpointe Data Delta5 Multi-Technology Contactless Smartcard Reader

With a thin profile the model Delta5 is designed to be mounted to a standard North American single-gang wall switch box, but can also be surface-mounted to other flat surfaces.

Model Delta5-H adds the option of HID 125KHz proximity compatibility, and model Delta5-A adds the option of AWID 125KHz proximity compatibility.

Delta readers are able to read the sector (access control) data and/or card serial number from all ISO 14443 Type A & B compliant credentials. Delta credentials meet the ISO standard and are programmed by the manufacturer with a Delta compatible secure key. The model Delta 6.4 is designed to be mounted directly to a standard North American sized single-gang wall box, and integrates both a multi-technology contactless smartcard reader (13.56-MHz and 125-kHz proximity technologies) and a keypad into a single-unit making it ideal for applications requiring an access credential and/or personal identification number (PIN).

Model Delta6.4-H adds the option of HID 125KHz proximity compatibility, and model Delta6.4-A adds the option of AWID 125KHz proximity compatibility.
