Smart R Security Products

These electro-magnetic locks are designed to be installed into the frame of a sliding door or into the rebate of door frames for concealed installations.

It is also quite common for mortice magnets to be installed within a transom bar across the head of the door or down the door-frame rather than just at the head of the door. For higher security 2 or more locks may be installed in the transom bar to increase the holding pressure along the entire leading edge of the door.

SR1-MAG-600MORT Mortice Maglock

Suitable for sliding doors or rebated frames

A mortice electromagnetic lock suitable for sliding door/gate applications. It is designed to hold 272kg (600 lbs) and is selectable for 12V or 24V DC input voltage.

Also available with door status monitoring

Voltage tolerance: ±15%

- 500mA @ 12VDC (at temperature 20°C)
- 250mA @ 24VDC (at temperature 20°C)
Operating Temperature: -10°C to 55°C (14 to 131°F)

Typical surface temperature when powered: current temperature plus 20°C

Suitable for sliding door - with monitor output

The same specification as the model SR1-MAG-600MORT above but with the addition of a lock status sensor. The monitor output is in the form of an SPDT switch contact rated at 0.25A @ 12 VDC.
