HID Global is an American manufacturer of secure identity solutions. The company is a subsidiary of Assa Abloy, a Swedish global leader in door opening solutions.

The company sells physical access control products, logical access control solutions, and secure issuance solutions that comprise cards, readers, smart card readers, networked access solutions, card printer/encoders and software. HID manufactures and licenses several types of technologies including 13.56 MHz iCLASS, MIFARE, and DESFire, as well as the 125 kHz Indala and HID Prox cards.

HID's ProxPoint Plus reader combines multiple configuration options with an attractive, inconspicuous design and economical price. Its secure potted electronics are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Small sized, low cost reader features a beeper and multi-colour LED which can be host and / or locally controlled.
Potted construction makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
45 cm pigtail cable as standard.
Optional Classic Series covers are available in black, grey, white or beige. Optional Designer Series covers are available in black or grey.
Designed for mounting directly onto metal with no change in read range performance.
Available with either Wiegand or Clock-and-Data (magnetic-stripe data) output.

HID iCLASS SE R10 Reader and RW100 Reader/Writer

The R10 model is the smallest reader in the iCLASS family and so is the optimum choice for mullion-mounted door installations.

Multi-Technology Option
The RP15 is a multi-technology card reader which can read both HID Prox and iCLASS cards and was designed for customers transitioning their current card system from HID Prox to iCLASS® credentials. With the RP15 reader, the customer has the ability to transition to smart cards over time while incorporating the use of multiple card technologies within a single building or across multiple facilities.

HID iCLASS SE R15, Reader, RW150 reader / writer, and RP15 MultiCLASS readers

HID's iCLASS readers provide a solution when smartcard technology is needed to host multiple applications on a single card e.g. access control and cashless vending, or where the enhanced security of data encryption and mutual authentication is required.

The R15 model is the second-smallest reader in the iCLASS family and features the same mounting dimensions as the MiniProx™ proximity reader to allow for an easy direct replacement / upgrade. Like the shorter R10, it is also a viable choice for mullion-mounted door installations.
